We combine verification, human review and privacy controls so both sides can act with confidence.

Member verification

Every account must verify an email address. Adding and verifying a phone number unlocks a verified badge. Verification is never bought or grandfathered in.

Human moderation

New listings and material edits enter a review queue. Our review team can approve, request changes, reject, pause or remove listings. Only approved listings are public.

Reporting and blocking

Report a listing, member or message from where you see it. You can block any member to stop messages and enquiries immediately, and track your reports from the dashboard.

Privacy by design

Contact details are not exposed in search or listing pages. Exact addresses stay private. Sessions use HttpOnly cookies with CSRF protection and device-level revocation.

What happens when you report something

Your report enters the Trust & Safety queue with the listing, member or message attached.
Our review team checks the evidence and the account history.
We may dismiss the report, warn the member, remove the listing, or suspend the account.
You receive an email update when the report is resolved. Duplicate open reports are merged.

Before you pay anything

Always visit the property in person before paying a deposit.
Match the person you meet with the listing owner or an authorised representative.
Ask for the rental agreement and verify the landlord or society details.
Never transfer money through chat links, UPI requests from strangers, or gift cards.
Check that the room, common areas and locks are in the condition described.
Trust your instincts — if something feels off, stop and report it.

StayCircle does not handle rent or deposits. We will never ask you to pay through the platform, a chat link or a third-party form. Any such request is a red flag — report it immediately.

Emergency and legal issues

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. For fraud, harassment or tenancy disputes, keep copies of messages, agreements and payment receipts, then report the account here and contact your local authorities. We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
